These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Recomp Health website at recomphealth.org and, when available, the Recomp Health mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Recomp Health
Recomp Health is a New Zealand-based health technology company providing a GLP-1 body recomposition tracking platform. We are not a healthcare provider, medical practice, or regulated health service. Our Service is a wellness and tracking tool only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide the Service to anyone under 18.
3. Waitlist and Communications
By submitting your email address on our website, you agree to receive communications from Recomp Health including product updates, launch announcements, and related health content. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at support@recomphealth.org.

Recomp Health is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
The information, tools, tracking features, and content provided through the Service are for general wellness and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes or should be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, modifying, or stopping any medication, diet, or exercise programme — including GLP-1 medications. Never disregard professional medical advice based on information from this Service.
5. Coaching Services
The Service may facilitate connections between users and independent health coaches (nutritionists, strength and conditioning coaches, and similar professionals). Recomp Health acts as a platform only and is not responsible for the advice, recommendations, or services provided by independent coaches. Coaches are not employees or agents of Recomp Health. You engage with coaches at your own risk and should verify their qualifications independently.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- →Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- →Upload or transmit false, misleading, or fraudulent health data
- →Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
- →Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Service
- →Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users or coaches
- →Scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service using automated means
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, software, and the Recomp Health brand — is owned by or licensed to Recomp Health and is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any personal health data you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant Recomp Health a limited licence to process and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
Recomp Health offers an optional auto-renewing subscription — Founder Mentorship — available through Apple's App Store as an in-app purchase.
Pricing is shown in your local currency on the subscription screen before you purchase and varies by region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
You can manage your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple Account settings at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy; Recomp Health does not process payments or store payment card information.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Recomp Health and its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any health outcomes, decisions made based on tracked data, or reliance on coaching advice. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or NZD $100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 where applicable.
10. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability shall survive.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
